Our First Impressions Team welcomes our partners and guests as they arrive each week making sure that they feel the love God from the parking to the inside of the sanctuary. Media and Communication
Our NCFC Media and Communication Team uses technology in the form of sound, video, lighting, graphics, stage enhancements and internet newsletters, to enhance the life-changing message of Jesus. If you have a heart for service and a desire to learn, we will do the rest. Our NCFC Media Staff is committed to equip and train you.
Solomon’s Table
A table fit for a Kings is what this ministry is about. We focus on serving God’s people as son’s and daughters of the King! If you love to entertain, cook a scrumptious meal, prepare a decadent table, the Solomon’s Table has a place for you!
Covenant Cups and Books:
The bookstore and coffee shop that keeps you coming back for more. This is where you can pick up the teachings of Pastors Derrick and Ilya Golden. You will also find books, music and teachings from other faith filled leaders of the gospel. This is an area where you can be apart of spreading the gospel of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Net-Breakers Intercession Ministry
Net-Breakers are a group of powerful intercessors who pray the word of God, believe the word of God and see the results from God! This is the great commission at work as exampled in Luke 5:4-11, where God does the astonishing for Peter if he would obey him. We are to go out and cast our net for a draught of men, so much so that there will be too many for one ministry and we will have to enlist others for assistance. M.P.A.C.T. Men's Ministry
M.P.A.C.T. is the men’s ministry who is in the business of restoring men back to their rightful place in the home, the workforce and the church. The effort is to evangelize and for the men of God to make a difference in the world through righteous living, worship, commitment and good works. Our men are of good rapport and are dedicated to being living epistles worthy of reading here in the earth.
S.A.L.T. (Seasoned Adults Living and Teaching) Senior Ministry
A ministry for seniors where they can be active, enjoy life and teach everyone around them how to be the salt of the earth. Salt never loses its flavor, even in old age the bible that we shall bring forth fruit and flourish. Psalm 92:14 (coming soon)

Welcome to The NCFC! The New Covenant Fellowship Church is your place of worship.
Pastors Derrick and Ilya Golden opened the doors to a journey of a lifetime with God in Faith. They launched the official Sunday bible study in their home on August 12, 2007, there were 34 people in attendance.
They dared to believe and in faith, moved to Bennett Elementary School on October 14, 2007 and launched the 1st official service of The New Covenant Fellowship Church of McKinney, there were 147 people in the service from all the surrounding areas and as far as Houston, TX.
As the work of the Lord continued producing fruit, Pastor Eben Conner, Sr. Pastor of Word of Truth Family Church, Mansfield, TX Pastor Derrick’s mentor and former Pastor instructed him to do the work for a year and if it be God then he would at that time ordain him. So, in October 12, 2008, Pastors Eben and Sara Conner ordained Pastors Derrick and Ilya Golden into the Christian Ministry.
Later in that month both Pastor Derrick and Lady Ilya were also ordained by their Pastors, Bishop I.V. and Lady Bridgette Hilliard of New Light Christian Center Church and World Outreach Centers of Houston, TX at the Church Development and Strategies Conference as Pastors and members in the Association of Independent Ministries.
Needless to say, the work continued to grow and to accommodate the crowd, Pastors Derrick and Ilya decided to move locations. As a result of prayer and counsel, on April 12, 2009, Easter Sunday, The NCFC moved to the larger Dowell Middle School where the word of God is taught in a casual atmosphere and serious faith is activated

Covenant Worship (Worship & Fine Arts)
Passionate, dynamic, sincere, creative and universal are words to describe the Covenant Worship and Fine Arts Team. This team is comprised of singers, musician, praise dancers, steppers, mime and drama. Our goal is to dramatically communicate the life changing message of Jesus Christ in a relative way, connecting the heart and soul to the heartbeat of Christ through contagious and radical worship!
Pure
The PURE Ministry introduces your child to the character of Jesus Christ through the loving care of our volunteer staff. This ministry is structured for children 18 months through 5th grade introducing God’s Word in bite size pieces for them to use in everyday life. The teachings are uniquely tailored to your child’s stage of development. PURE Kids experience Christ through Bible Stories, Crafts, Games and Worship. While they learn about Jesus, they’re developing friendships and learning to interact with their peers. The PURE Ministry wants to help your child know Jesus Christ, grow in His likeness and show Him to the world. Did you have fun? What did you learn? These are two great questions that you will want to ask your child after their PURE Sunday Experience. S.T.R.I.D.E. Night Live is throws open the doors to a dynamic, in-your-face approach to student ministry. It is not youth ministry as usual! Every Wednesday night at 7:00pm students connect with friends, grow in their relationship with Christ and enjoy powerful worship. Join a group of Jr. High & High school students from across the Collin County Area for an unusual take on church!
W.O.W. (Women of Water) Women's Ministry
W.O.W. is the women’s ministry concerned about other women. Jesus said in John 4:14 that whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never thirst again. We are women who will inspire other women of the world with love, compassion, wisdom, commitment and virtue because of the water! Be a distributor.
What We Believe
The New Covenant Fellowship Church of McKinney, is a non-denominational ministry that believes that we have a responsibility to carry out the Great Commission to go out and make disciples of men, we intend to do this through what we believe:
- THE SCRIPTURES - The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is what we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21).
- THE GODHEAD - Our God is one but is manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being co-equal (I John 5:7, John 1:14; 14:28). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 15:26).
- MAN: HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION - Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and to give His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (I John 3:8, Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10).
- SALVATION OF MAN - Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). The new birth is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled, it produces eternal life (John 3:3-5, II Corinthians 7:10).
- WATER BAPTISM - Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12).
- BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST - The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4).
- SANCTIFICATION - We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation (I Thessalonians 5:23, II Peter 3:18, II Corinthians 3:18).
- DIVINE HEALING - Healing according to scripture. (Isa. 53:4-5, 1Cor. 12:9, James 5:14, Mark 16:17-18, Matt. 18:19, Mark 11:24)
- RESSURECTION OF THE JUST AND THE RETURN OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR - His coming is imminent. When He comes...(Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:16-17). Following the tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Then, together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign for a thousand years (Revelation 20:6).
- HELL AND ETERNAL RETRIBUTION - The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20).
- HEAVEN - Place of eternity promised by God (Heb 9:24, Matt. 3:2, 5:16, Col. 1:5…)

Pastor Derrick Golden
On life’s incredible journey, many seek after fame, fortune and one’s definitive purpose in life. But for some, divine destiny and God’s ultimate purpose is clear. From the age of nine, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Pastor Derrick Golden gave his life and his heart to Jesus Christ and answered the call to serve God and humanity. Through the years, his call has matured; resulting in a profound passion to see people live balanced, sober and settled lives.
Pastor Derrick Golden is one of America’s new voices of faith, hope, change and accountability in Christian ministry. His leadership and energy is contagious and his message is touching thousands of lives in North Texas. His personality and deep concern for people attracts those from all walks of life. Pastor Golden has served in ministry in various positions: from cutting the church lawn, serving as Sunday School Superintendent at the age of twelve years old, singing in the Youth Choir, serving on the parking lot, teaching in Children's Church, to serving as the Men's Ministry Leader, Minister, life coach and church administrator. Pastor Golden has experienced servant hood at all levels, all to the Glory of God.
Upon graduating, Northeast Senior High in 1987, he received an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Miami, where he played with some of the most famous Hall of Fame players of our day. Though never a consistent starter, when he got in the game, his coaches always told him to go out there and make the BIG play, and he always did. Pastor Golden says that he would never embellish his career as a Hurricane, however the player has now become the coach and he is dedicated to coaching others on how to make BIG plays in the Body of Christ, in their personal lives and in the lives of others.
Pastor Golden answered the call of God in August 2007, becoming the founder of The New Covenant Fellowship Church in McKinney, TX. Within the two short years, The NCFC has over 500 members. Pastor Derrick has been married to Ilya Golden for 15 years; they attribute their marriage success to their personal motto, "whatever it takes!" Pastor Derrick says that living without her is like breathing without air. They are the parents of LeDerrianne, Maliek and Kyndal Golden.
Pastor Derrick’s commitment to God, his family and his community are undeniable. He meets no stranger and he gives many hours mentoring and coaching others to live a better life. His ability to communicate with passion, sincerity and humor will not only inspire you, but will challenge you to Believe!
Pastor Ilya Golden
Ilya Golden is a wife, mother and friend after God’s own heart. Pastor Ilya is the faithful companion of Pastor Derrick Golden and is co-founder of The New Covenant Fellowship Church of McKinney.
She’s creative and energetic, yet endearing and consumed with pleasing God. Among her many talents she is a gifted singer and songwriter. Her desire to see women overcome low self-esteem and issues of self-imposed fears is a paramount concern for her. Pastor Ilya believes that everyone is able to live an overcoming life. "In one chapter of your life you could be the victim, but in the next chapter you could be victorious."
She serves alongside her husband, Pastor Derrick, in an enthusiastic and supportive role, which completes him but is uniquely her.

What should I expect?
Faith building, relevant teaching and amazing worship is apart of each service at The NCFC. Our services are typically 1 hour and 30 minutes long and feature compelling messages that speak to adults on every level.
The attire is casual, business casual or dressy, that means that you can come dressed wearing jeans...if you like. When you visit The NCFC you will find friendly faces and warm smiles that will greet from the time you arrive on the parking lot and walk through the front doors.
What do you have for kids?
At The NCFC, kids come first! If you have children that are walking babies through age 11, you will be able to use our electronic check-in system which make getting your kids to class easy and convenient.
Where is the location of the service?
The NCFC currently has service at Dowell Middle School, 301 S. Ridge Rd, McKinney, TX 75070. We are west of I-75 off of Virginia, right across from the YMCA.
What do I do before service?
Complimentary coffee and pastry is yours to enjoy before service. Before and after service we will provide a selection of sermon messages, books, and other helpful resources for purchase.
How do I get involved?
The NCFC believes in people being planted in the house of the Lord, which is why we provide a variety of ways for people to get involved. Those who would like to learn more about the church are encouraged to sign up for our partnership classes.

The NCFC of McKinney is a New and Explosive Ministry in Collin County! Our congregation is diversified and continues to grow at a rapid pace. We attribute this success to our commitment to follow the principles of God by showing value and love to all people. This unconditional love is extended to those who have accepted Jesus Christ and those who have yet to accept him as their Lord and savior.
It is our desire that every believer in the body of Christ be balanced, sober, settled and has a radical expression in praise and worship to God.
